I led the majority of development, including model training. The implemented prototype combines local face and GPS checks with offline queuing and synchronization.

I’m Elmer Jhay, a developer who likes understanding the systems behind the interface.

I’m a fourth-year BS Computer Science student at Holy Angel University in the Philippines. I work across full-stack web development, mobile applications, backend systems, databases and computer vision.

I developed CartCheck as its solo project owner with Codex as an AI development assistant. For Agila, I led the majority of development, including facial-recognition model training. I use AI-assisted development to help plan, build, test and improve software, while staying responsible for understanding the decisions behind it.

Facial embedding CNN training, preprocessing, verification and ONNX export. I distinguish laboratory evidence from real-world accuracy and respect the model’s research-only restrictions.
